POP INs

What's a POP IN?

A POP IN is a chance for Parents of Panthers to POP IN to school and learn more about things that are going on at school.  These presentations are given by the Principal and Assistant Principal throughout the year on various topics.

Last year, we focused on the new CAASPP assessments.  CAASPP stands for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress. CAASPP is an assessment that was created to assess student progress along the Common Core State Standards.  All students in grades 3-5 take the CAASPP in English Language Arts & Math in the Spring.

This year, we want to shift our focus to some different topics and also give our community an opportunity for an open forum.  We anticipate holding several POP INs throughout the year with structured presentations where we will share specific information about things our community needs to know.  We also anticipate holding several POP INs where our community members can just POP IN, ask a question, or provide feedback.

It is our hope that through this blended model, we will be able to provide vital information and an open door for communication.

Together, we ensure that every student is a success at Paloma.
